Feedback and Complaints
I want everyone who comes to New Leaf Counselling to feel heard, respected and able to speak openly about their experience. Your feedback is welcome, whether you would like to share something that has helped or raise something you are unhappy about.
Raising a concern
I understand that raising a concern can feel difficult, particularly within a therapeutic relationship. If something hasn’t felt right, you are welcome to tell me during a session or email khnewleaf@gmail.com You don’t need to wait until therapy has ended. I will take your concerns seriously, listen carefully and seek to understand what has happened. Wherever possible, I will work with you to find a way forward.
Making a complaint
If you would like to make a complaint directly to me, please email khnewleaf@gmail.com, explaining what happened and what you would like me to consider. You do not need to use formal language; simply describe your experience in your own words. I will acknowledge your complaint, explain the next steps and keep you informed while I look into it. I will then provide a written response outlining the outcome and any action I will take.
Contacting the Human Givens Institute
If you do not feel comfortable raising the matter with me, or you are unhappy with my response, you can contact the Human Givens Institute (HGI) directly for guidance about its complaints process.
